This famous Cypriot cheese is originally from the Middle East and has a salty, tangy taste that sweetens when heated and is the only cheese we know that doesn’t melt.

Grilled Halloumi has become a must have for every barbecue as a delicious alternative to meat and can so easily and creatively be combined with all manner of things - from fresh fruits and vegetables to Hoummus or all sorts of pickles and chutneys.

Traditionally made from seasonal goats and ewes milk, it is mostly mixed with cows milk nowadays – due to its fast growing popularity and demand.
