Celtic Promise - Teifi Farmhouse Cheese, Teifi
Celtic Promise is a real blast of flavour. Spicy and fruity with a lovely soft buttery texture,this is a cheese well worth getting to know. Originally created by cheese pioneer James Alridge, it starts life as Teifi cheese which is washed in cider as it ripens. The smell can knock you back a bit but the taste is nothing short of superb. Definitely a case of once bitten,forever smitten.
The award winning cheese is made with vegetarian rennet, so almost everyone can enjoy it.
What with? This cheese is seriously good at melting. Melt it into a fluffy jacket potato for a delicious snack! Good with a glass of cider or beer even and a good dollop of Sweet Apple Chutney.
